Our final assignment of Great Books Year 77 is Les Blancs by Lorraine Hansberry, to be discussed on Tuesday, May 2, 7:00 p.m. at the South Euclid – Lyndhurst Library (or Zoom with us).
It can’t be any easier to complete this assignment. Why? Because all you have to do is watch the play! Here is a link to a full-length production by the National Theatre:

Les Blancs explores the themes of race, colonialism, and identity. The story is set in an African country on the brink of revolution, where a group of white missionaries and a black American journalist come face to face with the complexities of the situation. The play offers a powerful commentary on the legacy of colonialism and the ongoing struggle for racial justice.
To participate in the discussion you can join us at the library or participate virtually via Zoom. As always, details are on this website.
